Brand-New Mazda CX-8 Diesel has achieved the maximum five-star safety rating from the Australian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP), to maintain five stars across the entire Mazda range.

Tested according to the stringent new standards set by ANCAP, Brand-New Mazda CX-8 Diesel performed strongly across all criteria to achieve the highest possible safety score from ANCAP.

ANCAP Chief Executive, James Goodwin, said that it is encouraging to see the Mazda CX-8 to step up as one of the first vehicles and achieve five stars against the increased standards.

Launched in Australia in June 2018, Brand-New Mazda CX-8 Diesel incorporates the latest in Mazda's advanced i-ACTIVSENSE safety technologies, with the bulk deployed as standard from the entry grade Sport to the top range Asaki.
